Man held following pair of robberies

A 25-year-old man has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of disguise with intent.

The man was arrested in the act of robbing a convenience store at about 2 a.m. on the 1000 block of Henderson Highway on Christmas Eve.

Adam Bahry faces charges for the Dec. 24 attempted robbery and for a robbery that took place on Dec. 20, at the same location at around the same time.

He remains in police custody.

Man busted after Christmas Day heist

A 32-year-old man has been charged with robbing a convenience store on the 800 block of Arlington Street during the early hours of Christmas morning.

Police responded to a call at about 5:30 a.m. regarding an armed man who demanded money and fled on a bike with an undisclosed amount of cash.

An investigation led police to a house on the 700 block of Simcoe Street where officers arrested Walter Guimond and seized a weapon believed to be used in the robbery.

Guimond remains in police custody.
