Man leaving all-night pharmacy robbed of prescription medication

A man’s trip to an all-night pharmacy early today was interrupted when he was robbed of his prescription medication.

Police said the 50-year-old victim had just left a pharmacy in the 1000-block of McPhillips Street at about 12:30 a.m. when he approached by two armed men who took his prescriptions and some personal property.

Both robbers are described as aboriginal in appearance, between 5’7"-5’9" in height with medium build.

The robbers drove off in a black extended-cab pick-up truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 204-986-2858 or Winnipeg Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
