A scary situation Tuesday afternoon has police looking for a man in the St. Boniface area.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., officers were called to a home where a 10-year-old said she noticed a man following her near Hamel Avenue and De La Morenie Street. Worried for her safety, the girl took off running and the man chased her.
The pursuit ended once the girl arrived at a relative’s residence.
The suspect never said anything, nor did he touch the girl. He is described as Caucasian, between 25 to 30 years old, with short brown hair and a skinny build.
