Police are looking for a man following an incident involving a 12-year-old girl Monday.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., a girl was walking in the 500 block of Washington Avenue when she noticed an unknown man following her. She continued walking eastbound on Washington when the man suddenly grabbed her from behind.
The girl managed to kick free of the man’s grasp and then ran home, where she notified her parents.
There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 40-50 years old with a slim build and short brush cut. He had a lazy left eye. He was wearing a green army sweater and blue jeans.
