Man survives shooting on Bannerman

A man in his early 20s is in stable condition after being shot in the upper body early this morning in Winnipeg.

City police say the incident occurred at around 3:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Bannerman Avenue in the North End.

The Winnipeg Police Service major crimes unit is investigating. No arrests have been made.
