Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries is donating $1.35 million for research into fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
In a news release Tuesday, the Crown agency said the money will go towards researched aimed at improving early diagnosis, intervention and prevention of FASD.
The money will flow to the Canada-Israel International Fetal Alcohol Consortium, which includes research teams from the University of Manitoba and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
