Officers seized approximately one pound of marijuana, bags of cut marijuana, 10 plants and approximately 10 grams of cocaine.

A Dauphin man is facing numerous charges following a drug bust at a residence in the Manitoba community last week.

Just before midnight on Friday, Aug. 22, Dauphin RCMP executed a controlled drug and substances search warrant at a Dauphin home. Officers came across and seized approximately one pound of marijuana, bags of cut marijuana, 10 plants and approximately 10 grams of cocaine.

Grow-op equipment was also seized, as were several weapons, including a firearm and crossbow.

Victor Dione Simpson, 50, was arrested and taken into custody. He is facing numerous drug-related and weapons-related charges.

Simpson is scheduled to appear in a Dauphin court in October.
