Marijuana plants, equipment seized from North Kildonan home

Winnipeg police seized 317 marijuana plants, approximately one kilogram of dry marijuana and grow operation equipment worth $13,000 from a home in North Kildonan on Wednesday.

The marijuana plants found in the home in the 300 block of McIvor Avenue had an estimated street value of $355,000, and the dry marijuana was worth about $6,000.

A 49-year-old woman faces several drug-related charges. She was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
