Mark your calendar: Cops' half-marathon May 5
The 9th annual half marathon in Winnipeg, a fundraiser for the Cops for Cancer program, is scheduled for May 5 at Assiniboine Park.
The run is being hosted by the Winnipeg Police Service, the Winnipeg Iron-Cops and the Running Room.
For the first time, the event will offer a two-wave start. The first wave will be at 8 a.m. and the second comes at 8:30 a.m.
The event starts and finishes inside the Assiniboine Park near the foot bridge. The course will remain the same as last year, and all information can be found at www.wpshalfmarathon.ca
