Men stabbed in two separate assaults

Two men were treated in hospital following separate stabbings overnight in the North End and Elmwood.

A 30-year-old man stabbed in the upper body at around 3 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 200 block of Brazier Street was reported to be in stable condition. Police are investigating at the scene.

In the other stabbing, a man in his 20s was assaulted by four men while riding his bicycle in the North End.

He was attacked near Magnus Avenue and Charles Street around 8 p.m. and suffered a minor stab wound to his lower body, which was treated in hospital.
