Milder temperatures in store for weekend
If you've made the -30 wind chill your friend this week, you can look forward to better company this weekend.
That wind chill is still hanging around this morning, like the buddy who won't go home when the snacks are gone, but the temperature is expected to improve in the next few days.
Sunny skies are in the forecast for today with a high of -5 C. Environment Canada even noted a UV index of 4 or moderate.
There will be increasing cloudiness tonight with a low of -14 C tonight.
On Saturday and Sunday, a mix of sun and cloud are expected on both days with a high of -4 C.
To start the new week, there will be plenty of sun and highs of -4 C are expected on Monday and Tuesday.
A high of 0 C is expected by Wednesday.
