Minister Clement at News Cafe today

Treasury Board President Tony Clement was live at the Free Press News Cafe today, chatting about ways to make government data more useful and open.

As part of his open government initiative, Clement is touring Canada looking for ways to turn reams of government data into apps that businesses can use, making government more efficient and fostering Canadian innovation.

The minister spent the morning touring AssentWorks, a non-profit prototyping facility, and hosting a short forum with entrepreneurs at Red River College.

Clement followed up with a visit to the News Cafe for a chat with reporter Mary Agnes Welch, taking questions in person and online. Watch a replay of the interview below:
