Mint fire causes $200,000 damage

Equipment failure at the Royal Canadian Mint caused a fire to break out Monday night, a fire department spokesperson said.
Fire crews responded to a fire at the Lagimodiere Boulevard facility Monday after a fire broke out in an area with plating equipment and handling ducts.
No one was injured, but the fire caused $200,000 in damage.
