Missing Cross Lake boater found dead
A missing fisherman who disappeared from his boat in the Cross Lake area has been found dead, RCMP report.
According to the Cross Lake RCMP, their detachment was told Saturday afternoon a boat had been found running in circles with no one aboard.
Police and local volunteers immediately launched a search effort.
On Sunday, local volunteers found the body of a 68-year-old area resident. His name will not be released.
