The ever-changing forecast for Winnipeg has changed once again.

After yesterday’s prediction of thunderstorms for most of today, Environment Canada has pulled back on that forecast this morning. A mix of sun and cloud is now in the offing for today, with a wind southwest 20 km/h and a high of 26 C this afternoon.

Tonight, look for a 30 per cent chance of showers (including a risk of a thunderstorm) and a low of 12 C.

Things will take a shift into the cool starting Friday, thanks to a 30 km/h wind blowing from the northwest. Friday’s high is forecast to only reach 18 C.

This below-normal trend will continue through the weekend. Some shower activity is expected Sunday.
