Mix of sun and rain for Labour Day weekend

  • Print

Your long weekend forecast has a little bit of everything, Winnipeg.

The unofficial end of summer brings with it sunshine, rain and for later today, a good chance of a thunderstorm rolling through the region.

Environment Canada is calling for cloudy skies and showers this morning, with the risk of a thunderstorm before the afternoon arrives.

Things will clear up later in the day, though the temperature will only get up to 20 C.

Saturday looks to be the best day of the three-day weekend, with sunshine and a high of 22 C expected.

Periods of rain and a high of 23 C are forecast for Sunday, while Labour Day Monday should bring with it a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 22 C.
