Mixed bag of sun and showers in forecast

Environment Canada says today’s weather will be a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n' roll. Well, that’s not exactly how they put it but Staff Writer reads it that way.

You’ll see a mix of sun and cloud today, with a 60 per cent chance of showers late this afternoon. Look for a high of 21 C and a UV index of 8, or very high. There will be showers mixed with thunderstorms tonight, with rainfall between 10 to 20 millimetres. Low of 15 overnight.

Wednesday, they’re calling for a mainly cloudy day with a 60 per cent of showers early in the morning. Things should clear in the morning with winds becoming southeast at 30/km in the morning and light in the evening. The high will be 20 C.

Things will get sunny Thursday and Friday and, with terrible inevitability, cloudy with a strong chance of showers for the weekend.
