Near-miss for motorcyclist

A motorcyclist narrowly avoided disaster after his bike collided with a train.

The accident occured at the corner of Marion Street and Panet Road at about 11:20 p.m. on Friday night. A train was crossing at the intersection when a motorcycle fell on its side and ended up stuck underneath the train.

The motorcyclist managed to escape with minor injuries, and the train came to a stop.
