Moustache is mainstream in Winnipeg

They’re everywhere. The moustache is mainstream in Winnipeg, at least for this month.

Local organizers of the Movember campaign said so far more than 7,000 Manitoban registrants have donated nearly $500,000 in online pledges for prostate cancer and male mental health causes. The international campaign goes for 30 days during November.

A gala party will be held Nov. 28 at the Pyramid Cabaret which will be free for those who have raised $100 or more.

More information is available at movember.com, or facebook.com/movemberwinnipeg.
