The grand opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is less than two months away.
With that on the horizon, a news conference is scheduled at the museum Thursday morning, outlining the plans for the official opening weekend celebration in September.
The museum is scheduled to open on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Museum CEO Stuart Murray will be on hand to outline the list of family-friendly activities and performances.
Murray will be joined by Winnipeg Folk Festival Artistic Director Chris Frayer, who will share details of a special concert.
