A whole bunch of middle-aged men were turned into little boys Thursday at the Glendale Golf & Country Club.
Thanks to the Amadeus Steen Foundation's seventh annual golf tournament, they were able to rub shoulders — and compare drives and chip shots — with some hockey legends and current NHL stars. Some observers reported a little friendly trash talk was also exchanged.
More than 200 golfers participated, with each group assigned a celebrity player such as Montreal Canadiens superstar Yvan Cournoyer, former Jets trailblazers Anders Hedberg and Ulf Nilsson, current Jet Zach Bogosian and a couple of St. Louis Blues who were born in Manitoba — Alex Steen and Ryan Reaves.
