New water bombers unveiled

Officials showed off two new water bombers Wednesday, part of an effort to increase forest fire-fighting capacity in the province.

The planes are the second and third of four new aircraft purchased by the province as part of a $126-million contract with Bombardier.

They were unveiled at a press conference Thursday by Emergency Measures Minister Steve Ashton and Conservation Minister Gord Mackintosh.
