The hot spot in Canada is about to cool off.
A day after laying claim to the nation’s highest temperature (the city hit 26.8 C Tuesday), Winnipeg is only expected to hit 21 C today. Clouds should start to roll in this morning, with a northwest wind 20 km/h switching to northeast later this afternoon.
Tonight, prepare for a north wind 30 km/h and a low of 9 C.
That north breeze and cloudy sky should stay with us Thursday, keeping the daytime high around the 20 C mark.
Sunshine is in the cards for Friday.
The forecast for the weekend is wet, with periods of rain expected Saturday and Sunday.
