Not quite fall weather... yet

  • Print

Ignore those yellow leaves you are seeing on the ground -- the trees got the wrong idea a couple weeks ago when we had those cooler days/nights.

Summer is still sizzling.

A sunny day today will bring a high of 26 C and a low of 13 C, if you like a little evening breeze through the window when you sleep.

Friday, it will be mainly sunny but windy. Toward the evening, you might want to make sure your lawn chairs and yard toys are secure as the wind will increase to 40 km/h and begin gusting up to 60 km/h.

There is still rain in the Environment Canada forecast for Saturday. The high will be 34 C with a 60 per cent chance of showers.

Sunday's high will be 32 C and mostly sunny.

Early in the new regular work week, highs in the low 30s are expected at this point for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
