A Winnipeg man is facing numerous charges following a drug bust Wednesday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg police exercised a search warrant for a home in the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue.

Among the items seized in the search were various pills of Oxycontin (10mg, 40mg and 80-milligrams) with a street value of $11,830 and 10 grams of marijuana (worth $150). Over $1,700 of Canadian currency was also seized, as was a butterfly knife and a canister of bear spray.

A 46-year-old man was arrested without incident, police say. He was released on a promise to appear.
