Pine River teen facing charges over stabbing
A teen is facing assault charges after a man was stabbed Friday at a home in Pine River, a small community just east of Duck Mountain Provincial Park
RCMP were called to the home of a 16-year-old boy, who told them he had just stabbed a 37-year-old man. After a search, police found a wounded, unconscious man in a snow bank a short distance from the home wearing only pants and a shirt. He was rushed to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The teen remains in custody and is facing a number of charges, including aggravated assault.
