Placing of museum's final pane an event

The final pane of glass has made the trip to the top of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Thursday.

A crane and workers suspended about 100 metres in the air placed the glass on the Tower of Hope.

Media and donors were on hand to take in the placing of the glass – the final piece of 1,670 individual panes of specially constructed glass from Germany.

Photos and video from inside the museum and the Tower of Hope will also follow.

Gusting winds delayed the event on Wednesday.
