Police, MPI offer free vehicle inspections

Now's your chance to get your vehicle inspected by police and Autopac and not suffer any ramifications from it.

The Winnipeg Police Service’s vehicle inspection section and Manitoba Public Insurance are offering free motor vehicle inspections on Sunday at the MPI Service Centre at 420 Pembina Hwy., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Police said the inspections are being done as a public service and they promise they will not issue offence notices or do any follow-ups for defects and infractions.
