Police arrested pair following break-in

Two people have been arrested following a break-in at a home where people were sleeping.

The break-and-enter happened Friday at 3:30 a.m. at the home on the 100 block of Selkirk Avenue.

Police allege two people broke into the home and took jewelry, electronics and liquor.

Police were contacted after people inside the home heard noise and alerted authorities.

Officers located two people with help from members of the canine unit.

Jennifer Lee Colquhoun, 32, and Darren Lee Parisian, 26, have been charged with break and entering a dwelling house.

Colquhoun was charged with a court breach and Parisian was also charged with a probation breach.

Both are now in custody, said police.
