Police bust grow op on Aberdeen

Winnipeg police shut down a marijuana grow operation at a home in the 600 block of Aberdeen Avenue on Wednesday and arrested three people on a long list of drug charges.

Police seized 487 marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of $545,440, along with about two kilograms dry marijuana valued at about $10,000 and grow operation equipment valued at $5,000.

A 48-year-old woman and two men, aged 48 and 20, all of Winnipeg, face charges and were released on promises to appear in court.
