Winnipeg police busted a marijuana grow operation in a home in West Kildonan this week.
Police say more than 1,000 plants, with an estimated street value of nearly $1.2 million, were seized from a home in the 400 block of Scotia Street.
Dry marijuana and grow operation equipment was also seized, while $5,500 in Canadian currency and $400 in U.S. funds was also seized.
A 49-year-old man and 42-year-old woman, both of Winnipeg, were arrested at the scene and face a number of drug-related charges.
The two accused were released on promises to appear in court.
