Police charge man in nearly year-old homicide
City police have made an arrest in the 2012 homicide of Allan Frank Crockford, 42, who was shot and killed in the 600 block of Maryland Street.
Crockford and another man were walking in the area just after midnight when they were confronted by a man, who produced a rifle, fired it and robbed them.
Crockford didn't survive the attack.
After a lengthy investigation, Derek John Hall, 26, was arrested Tuesday while in custody for an unrelated matter.
Hall has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery with a firearm and several firearm-related charges.
