Police hunt for indecent-exposure suspect

City police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a 23-year-old woman early Friday.

On Friday at about 4 a.m., police responded to the area of Sutherland Avenue and Annabella Street due to the report of an indecent act.

Officers were told that a 23 year old woman was walking home eastbound on Sutherland Avenue when she observed an unknown man following her. The man initially made comments of a sexual nature. He then exposed himself while performing an indecent act.

The victim contacted police immediately and safely made her way home.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 25 years-old, 6’2" tall, medium build, brown medium length hair, goatee, wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6668 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
