Police investigating crash which injured two pedestrians

Police are investigating after a crash injured two pedestrians.

The crash involving a semi-truck happened Thursday at about 7:30 p.m. on Century Street, between Wellington Avenue and Dublin Avenue.

A northbound Freightliner struck two women who were walking northbound on Century, between Wellington and Dublin.

The crash injured a 22-year-old woman. She went to hospital in critical condition, with serious injuries.

It also injured a 24-year-old woman, who was treated and released.

Officers from the Central Traffic Unit are investigating.
