Police looking for alleged groper in Transcona

A sexual assault in Transcona has Winnipeg police on the hunt for a male suspect.

Tuesday evening, a 36-year-old woman was jogging in the 500 block of Pandora Avenue West at approximately 10:20 p.m. when she was groped by an unknown male from behind.

The woman yelled, and the man fled the scene. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a teenage Caucasian with curly, sandy blonde hair. He was wearing a bright blue shirt and beige pants.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact the East District Crime Unit at (204) 986-2857.
