Police are looking for a suspect in relation with a report of a sexual assault that occurred on July 7.

According to a police release, a 24-year-old female was waiting for a bus around 8 a.m. near Ness Avenue and Cavalier Drive in the city’s west end on July 7, when a man inappropriately touched her. The bus came right after this incident, and the victim got on the bus while the man stayed behind.

A second incident occurred the next day in the same area, around 3:30 p.m. The same man tried to start a conversation with the same female victim, and asked her to go home with him. She rebuffed him, and went home to call police.

The victim was not injured during these incidents, the release states.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, medium build and blonde hair, wearing blue pants and glasses.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the Sex Crimes Unit at (204)-986-3296.
