  • Print

Winnipeg police made two more arrests in connection to a beating in a bus shack in the downtown area last week.

In the early morning hours last Friday, a 19-year-old man fell asleep inside a bus shelter near the corner of Fort Street and Graham Avenue. The man was confronted by a group of youths and assaulted, causing serious injuries.

He was then robbed of his personal property before the suspects fled the scene.

Witnesses immediately notified police and patrol members, including Air1, started the search for suspects.

Four male suspects were identified. A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested later that same day.

Another 16-year-old and an adult male, William Johnson, 19, were arrested on Tuesday.

The four suspects are facing various charges.
