Police officers serving it up at Boston Pizza Wednesday

Winnipeg police will be slinging pizzas Wednesday, in support of inner city youth.

The Winnipeg Police Service will be holding its third annual Boston Pizza Tip A Cop event Nov. 14, at all 9 Winnipeg area Boston Pizza restaurants.

Uniformed officers will be serving food between 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., with all tips they collect going to the Inner City Youth Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship fund provides inner city youth with the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education at the University of Winnipeg.

The Tip A Cop event, along with the Winnipeg Police Community Challenge Golf Tournament, has raised over $30,000 for the scholarship fund.
