Man found shot in parking lot of West K apartment block

Winnipeg police continue to investigate a shooting in a West Kildonan parking lot Sunday night.

Officers responded to a call to the parking lot of the Crystallite Apartment block (445 Partridge Ave.) at approximately 9 p.m.

A vehicle in the lot had been involved in an accident and when police arrived they found a man inside the vehicle who had been shot.

The 23-year-old was transported to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.

The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the incident.
