Police searching for Henderson gas bar robber

  • Print

Police are looking for a man with an acne-scarred face after a gas bar in the 1400 block of Henderson Highway was robbed on Wednesday night.

The lone male suspect, described as having a light complexion, light-coloured hair and acne scars on his cheeks and nose, had gained entry to the gas bar's kiosk and stole an undisclosed number of cartons of cigarettes at about 11:30 p.m.

The 18-year-old clerk told police that the suspect had propped open the kiosk door and demanded cash. When told there was no cash on site, the man fled from the store.

Police said the suspect was wearing a parka with a checkered pattern, a hoodie and a dark-coloured neck warmer.

Anyone with information about this suspect or the robbery is asked to contact police at 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-8477 (TIPS).
