Police seek public's help in identifying suspects in hotel assaults

  • Print

Two recent assaults at the Maryland Bar have led police to turn to the public for help in tracking down suspects.

Police released photos today of suspects they believe were involved in attacks at the hotel on March 1 and Feb. 14.

In the more recent event, a 60-year-old man was brutally assaulted in a two-on-one attack and left with significant injuries from which he's still recovering, police said.

On Valentine's Day, two men were involved in an argument when one struck the other with a beer bottle. The debris from the bottle attack damaged a food warmer, police said. Police are considering their probe to be a mischief investigation due to the damage.

Anyone with information about these events is asked to call (204) 986-6668 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS(8477).
