Police seek suspects after armed robbery
Police are seeking a group of suspects after two men were victims of an armed robbery on Isabel Street Sunday.
The robbery happened in the 200 block of Isabel at around 4:30 a.m. The suspects, armed with a gun, took personal items and cash from the men, aged 20 and 26, after threatening and assaulting them, police say.
The victims ran to nearby locations for help, but both suspects followed one of them to a convenience store, where an altercation took place. The suspects left the convenience store and returned with three other suspects, all men. The victim was assaulted again and was injured in the upper body, police say. The suspects then fled from the location.
Both victims sustained minor injuries.
The five suspects were described as male and Aboriginal in appearance. Police released the following descriptions for four of the suspects:
Suspect #1: 5’9" to 5’10" tall, approximately 20 years old, 140 pounds, with a thin build, short dark hair, goatee facial hair, tattoo on right forearm
Suspect #2: 5’9" to 5’10" tall, approximately 20 years old, slim build, short dark hair with bruising under eyes
Suspect #3: 6’2" to 6'4" tall, heavy build, 30 to 40 years old
Suspect #4: Average height and build, approximately 21 to 27 years old, long hair worn in a ponytail
