Police seeking man who may have witnessed homicide

Police are looking for a man who may have witnessed the city's 12th homicide of the year.

Police found Michael Parker, 33, outside a residence on Notre Dame Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night. Investigators have concluded the victim suffered fatal injuries in the parking lot of the Thriftlodge on Notre Dame.

A man has has been charged with second-degree murder in the death.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a potential witness to this incident.

A male had entered the hotel and made a purchase at the vendor during this time period. This individual may have witnessed the incident, police said today.

Police ask anyone with information to call 986-6508.
