Police seeking two suspects in Portage la Prairie home invasion

Police are looking for two suspects in a home invasion in Portage la Prairie on Sunday.

Portage la Prairie RCMP said around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday a homeowner heard a knock on the door. He saw a female standing outside, and opened the door. Two men then pushed their way in and held him at knifepoint while they robbed his home. The man was not injured.

The two suspects have been identified as Walter Darrell Bradburn, 34, and Curtis Lance Asham, 41, both from Portage la Prairie. They have been charged with breaking and entering, robbery with a weapon, uttering threats and unlawful confinement.

Warrants are out for their arrest, and RCMP are asking anybody with information to contact Portage la Prairie RCMP at 204-857-4445 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.manitobacrimestoppers.com, or text "TIPMAN" plus a message to Crimes (274637).
