As many as six cruisers kept watch at a home at the 100 block of Lorne Avenue in Point Douglas throughout the day Wednesday.
Residents reported seeing officers from the police identification unit, wearing white plastic suits, searching a vacant duplex in the 100 block of the street, moving between the duplex and their centre of operations in the unit's white van.
Cruisers first arrived on the scene Tuesday, and police remained on the scene Wednesday evening.
