Possibility of rain today, but lots of sunshine ahead

WINNIPEG -- This morning’s forecast calls for a chance of rain clouds -- with a silver lining.

Sure, there's a 60 per cent chance of rain throughout the day, but the sky is expected to clear in the evening, at which point you can put your umbrella into storage.

There's nothing but clear skies and sunshine ahead until Monday, according to Environment Canada.

Temperatures are expected to rise during the week beginning with a high of 10 C and improving each day to a high of 17 C on Monday.
