Power outages in some parts of city to last until noon

  • Print

Residents of parts of Garden City, West Kildonan and East Kildonan will be without power until noon, Manitoba Hydro says.

A message on the Manitoba Hydro emergency line at 7:15 a.m. says two pole fires are responsible for the outages and that crews are working on the problem.

Numerous traffic lights in the area are out and Winnipeg police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.
