Power restored for 1,800 in Transcona

  • Print

Hydro has been restored to about 1,800 customers in Transcona who lost it this morning.

Manitoba Hydro spokesman Glenn Schneider said the power was restored at about noon.

Earlier, Schneider said the main downtown area of Transcona was affected by the outage, as well as the older residential areas around that area.

He said the cause of the outage was a broken glass or porcelain insulator on a hydro line.
