Manitoba's Ombudsman has a new website.
Acting Ombudsman Mel Holley said in a statement the new website is more user friendly and lets Manitobans contact the office on-line at www.ombudsman.mb.ca.
The Ombudsman's website has several new features, including information is now grouped into four areas that reflect the laws the Ombudsman has authority to launch an investigation.
They are the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Personal Health Information Act, the Ombudsman Act and The Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblower Protection) Act.
Complaints can also filed to the Ombudsman via a secure online complaint form.
