  • Print

The RCMP are looking for a small grey or silver car involved in a hit-and-run with a pedestrian Friday night in Steinbach.

RCMP said the incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the parking lot of Tim Hortons and Safeway in Steinbach.

A northbound car struck a pedestrian and then left the area.

RCMP described the car as either a Chevrolet Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire, with damage to the front driver’s side.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact Steinbach RCMP at 204-326-4452 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
